Sound in Motion – Building Interactive Sound Performances
This interdisciplinary workshop, led by Marcello Lussana, Anastasia Putsykina, Tristan Wheeler (InKüLe) & guest artist Christine Saulut Bonansea, explores the intersection of movement, sound, and technology. We will provide essential knowledge and hands-on tools for designing interactive sound performances!
Learn how to create interactive sound systems using sensors such as smartphone apps, camera tracking, contact microphones, and Odd Balls, as well as software like Ableton Live, TouchDesigner, and Supercollider. Through movement and object interaction, we will experiment with sound as a dynamic, performative medium and explore how body movement can be effectively sonified.

About Christine Saulut Bonansea
With 25 years of international teaching experience, Christine Saulut Bonansea brings extensive knowledge in movement awareness as a tool for creativity in the professional choreographic scene and social exchange. Her diverse background includes six years in therapeutic settings, working with various populations—from beginners to professional dancers, and from composition laboratories to group choreographic workshops.
This rich and varied experience has shaped Christine’s adaptive teaching methodology, allowing her to tailor exercises and approaches to specific pedagogical contexts. Through this workshop, she aims to share her expertise and foster a creative platform for students at the Universität der Künste Berlin, encouraging both individual exploration and collective discovery in the evolving landscape of dance and sound technology.
